Position Papers and Policies
Position paper guidelines can be found here: POSITION PAPERS. Email your chairs or a member of the staff with specific questions on requirements, submission, etc. Unless otherwise stated, all position papers for GA, Spec, and Crisis committees should be submitted by midnight on Saturday, November 28, 2026.
AI Policy: To make EGMUN I the best experience possible for all our delegates and chairs, we will be expressly barring the use of AI to write position papers. All position papers will be run through AI checkers; any papers that register as AI will be disqualified and their respective delegates will not be eligible for awards.
Technology Policy: Unless expressly stated by chairs, all committees will be technology free (laptops, phones, etc.) The sole exception to this policy is computers that are used for resolutions and working papers. Position papers, notes, and research conducted before the conference should be printed out.
While attending this conference, we expect all of our honorable delegates to abide by our zero tolerance policy for hate speech, discrimination and harassment. Any form of conduct that undermines the integrity, inclusivity, and respectful discourse of our club will not be tolerated.
While you are at present at New England Institute of Technology, please adhere to its policies, as well of those of East Greenwich High School. Policies for EGHS can be found at EGHS POLICIES.
