EARLY REGISTRATION DUE SEPTEMBER 30TH
Delegation fee waived if registered early!
The East Greenwich High School Model UN delegation is a group of amazing, hardworking, and brilliant people who have built a strong and award-winning team. Whether it's traveling to international conferences or attending the mock committees hosted at our very own school, each and every one of our delegates has contributed to our success. This conference would not be possible without the passion and determination our delegates bring to the table.
OUR CAPTAINS
Each and every one of our six captains represent what it means to be an exceptional delegate. Together, their leadership has brought our delegation to where it currently is, earning us the title of Best Small Delegation along the way. Without their efforts, our club would not have come this far or accomplished this much; their love for MUN is what holds us together and pushes us to continue.

Nothing we do in our delegation would be possible without Ms. Mancuso. Through her consistent and diligent effort, we have been able to accomplish incredible things in this club. Ms. Mancuso has spent countless hours making sure that everything goes according to plan, and our delegation will always be grateful for her involvement, support, and hard work.
OUR THEME
AMERICA AT 250: REDEFINING DEMOCRACY
As the United States closes out its 250th year as an established independent nation, it is more important than ever to consider the role that democracy has played in the development of America. Conceived by English settlers rebelling against the oppressive British monarchy, the democratic government that formed through continental conventions (spec mention!), wars with England, and the Declaration of Independence continues to expand today. Without the creation of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, the millions of citizens that populate the United States would still be existing under the "taxation without representation" regime.
While the birth of America may not be relevant to all of the committees included in this conference, the themes that represent this milestone in American history remain significant. Perhaps delegates will consider the motivations behind the American Constitution when discussing how to regulate space exploration. Maybe chairs will ask about potential solutions to corporate autocrats in Night City. Delegates may even get to shape the future of America from a historical standpoint, speaking as early colonists fighting for democratic representation.
Regardless the topic of delegates' committees, it is essential to consider how aspects of American democracy have become integrated into national, global, and extraterrestrial policy. Delegates will be tasked with evaluating the foundations of the United States, 250 years after it was created. As we celebrate the anniversary of America, we invite you to think of the successes of American democracy, weaknesses of certain policies, and how our style of government can be adapted to the broader world stage.
